This will be my final entry for Krabi trip, 2011. After having finished with the Phi Phi Island tour, we were back in our room by 4.30pm. We had earlier made another reservation for one of the Red Taxis to fetch us to Krabi Town night market. The deal was sealed at 700Baht for the both of us, wait for us until we were done, and return trip back to Resort. Journey time approximately 30-45min depending on speed of driver.
We decided to have our dinner at the night market. The weather did not look too good when we departed, and it drizzled for a good 15minutes or so. Once the rain had stopped, we started purchasing foods from the stalls.
The night market has a center square of tables and chairs for customers who purchased their food to sit and dine. One thing I love about the night market was after the rain, the air always smell a little fresher than before. There is a kids playground and also free Live stage performances. There was singing (Karaoke style) and dancing (performances). An entertaining night indeed.
Food were a few hits and misses. If you hadn’t had any of those food before, just give it a try. As some of the dishes I liked them but my Dearest did not and vice versa.
