Travelled to Genting Highlands over the weekend. It was nice to have a chilling breeze in place cooling yet not too far away from home. The drive to Genting is approximately 1.5hours by car from Kuala Lumpur.
If you are coming from the North-South highway heading towards KL, look out for an exit to Duke Highway (Duta-Ulu Kelang Highway). From there its a straight shot to Genting following their signs through the Karak Highway. Evidently, parking is free for all cars because the amount you give back to them in entertainment and “entertainment” is well earned.
For those not keen on driving up the winding roads, Genting provides an alternative to you, Cable Cars. You can get directions, ticket price, operating hours from here. As prices and operating times are subject to change, I suggest you check out the site for updated info.
