It is said that to go on a food trip in Ipoh, and you have a local friend / guide with you, you can experience up to 8 meals in a single day or more if you are capable.

Our Itinerary as follows:

9.30am

– Reach Ipoh, Look for Big Tree Stall ‘大树脚’(Second breakfast)

In Between

11.30-12pm

– Purple Cane Tea House (Lunch)

2pm

– Check in at De Hotel (Take a Nap)

5 – 6pm

– Look for Ipoh Tauge Chicken Rice (Early Dinner)

8pm – 10.30pm

For those who want a little more, you could squeeze in a tea time snack before going for dinner. Which was our original plan as well, but the comfy bed at the hotel told us to do otherwise.
